What is Phytotherapy Course

The Phytotherapy Course is a classroom and practical workshop oriented to the elaboration of high quality phytotherapeutic products. Throughout the course we teach how to take advantage of plants with therapeutic properties from a scientific approach, with techniques transmitted by more than five generations dedicated to the research and development of plant-based formulations.

Course program:

  1. Class 1: Introduction to phytotherapy and distillation
    Practice: Distillation and preparation of a hair strengthening tonic.
  2. Class 2: Alcoholic, hydroalcoholic, glycolic and glyceric extracts
    Practical: Alcoholic tincture and preparation of Venetian rub for muscular pain and inflammation.
  3. Class 3: Oil macerates
    Practical: Oil macerate and preparation of a healing and regenerating serum for burns and post-operative tissue.
  4. Class 4: Ointments, ointments, balms and creams: differences and areas of application
    Practical: Ointment base and preparation of a cream for dermatitis and eczema.
